Quad Set

In this video, you will learn how to properly execute a quad set. This exercise is beneficial for strengthening the thigh musculature before or after undergoing knee surgery, or after sustaining an injury. Place a towel roll under the heel of the injured leg, and focus on contracting the quadricep muscles. This exercise can be done 2-3 times daily, at 3 sets, 10 repetitions, with a 10-second hold while contracting. NOTE: Consult with your doctor or physical therapist before completing this exercise.
